Re: If you listen very carefully I just wonder what Port Vale ever did to us that causes us to inflict that on them ??
Re: If you listen very carefully Anyone want to talk Dyson down from the top of the Alambra car park?
Honest and hard working player and will do well at thta level. His career thus far shows he is not of Championship quality...............and probably never will be. Good luck to him if it happens as he deserves to be playing regular football.
Good post Pasta. The lad always gives 100% but sadly it does seem like he's just not good enough at this level. If it's true I wish him good luck and I hope it works out for him.
In another lifetime some of those shots that hit the bar or were well saved might have snuck in and he’d be looking at having half a dozen goals this season. Is it is they didn’t and he will be off. </SPAN></SPAN>
Dagnall supplying Tom Pope with more chances to add to his 20 goals for the season sounds like a team getting promoted to me if true.
Thought he's been excellent in quite a few games this season. Bet Davies will be sad to see him go. Don't think he started any of the games we lost in this good awful run either...
Bit unfair. I think it's clear he isn't going to make it at championship level but he did work hard to try and do a job for us so I'd rather wish him good luck than take the pi55 out of him.
I agree that he gave his all, its just his all is no where near enough at Championship level, not his fault, he can only do his best and for that I dont fault him.The manager is the one that signed him and kept playing him!!
Got to agree on that point. Davey did the same with Oddjob, albeit over a much longer period and it doesn't really help. I really wanted it to work out for Daggers but I think the time is right to let him try somewhere else.
Hard work and endeavour is great.............but if you're a striker then you need to score.........Dagnall doesn't and he has had a few great chances (first minute versus Blackpool sticks in my mind and he was 2 yards out and missed). Would be best for both parties if he left and played football somewhere where he could make a positive difference ie. at a lower level (Port Vale?).
