he signed a 2year deal at Arsenal yesterday so they must see something in him that we didn't. hopefully he will never pull the barnsley shirt on again though

Disagree. Shows what a good manager Wenger is

Mannone was only young when he joined Arsenal. Wenger needed to have a good look at him, so sent him out to anyone who was willing to take a chance.

He tried his best for us. I work with a group of guys who are good; they got good cos they have done the hard yards, ALL made mistakes and all learnt from them and got better over time.

Mannone is still young. He will never have to make a debut again, cos he's done it. He will never have the pressure of making first mistakes again. Cos he's done it. With us ! He can only get older, wiser and better. He started his hard yards with us. Arsenal will ultimately benefit from what he did with us.

    Too right

Any teenage goalkeeper who made a few mistakes early in his career will never be good enough for us no matter how much he improves with age and experience.

Same should also apply to young or foreign strikers as well
