Was fantastic at Tranmere a few years ago and linked with us. Hard to believe he opted for Bayern Munich instead.

Had a nasty injury is he the same player? Where will he end up? Champioship I reckon not sure premier league clubs will take a gamble

    Linked with us under Robins

    Flitcroft will have other targets.

    eg Ryan Harley from Brighton.

Hasn't quite worked out for the lad who was going to be a star in English football. Hopefully he doesn't come back too down heartened and gets back on track. It also doesn't help the first team at the club he's at now being one of the best in the world with the best wingers in the world.

    An educated guess?

He went on loan to MK Dons

not in the picture under Poyet but that could change, Hill (and presumably Flitcroft) known to be admirers as he tore up League 1 in their last season together, would likely to be cheap, so yes, educated guess.

Will he demand much of a fee though? I can't see us spending much especially if the Fowls are demanding silly money for COG

    Doubt it

I suspect the reason Poyet is on gardening leave is that he's been told by the Brighton board that the money isnt there and he has to cut his cloth, guessing that includes reducing the wage bill. He's one that we've been linked with and I get the impression Flitcroft does his homework and then persistence pays off, hence CoG.
