Damn Viruses

    No i haven't caught anything in that way :pff :pff Basically my pc as caught something and it will not go. I have run mcafee virus scan and got rid of everything it says i had. But on my desktop icon i still have yellow triangles with the ! sign in it saying i have spyware. Some lovely person please help me :)

    Surely my McAfee anti virus should have got rid of the spyware though.

    Download superantispyware and AVG antispyware and run them. Should do the trick, did it for me.

    antiVIRUS doesnt specialise in getting rid of spyware, for that you need antiSPYWARE like the one suggested.</p>

    You'd be surprised what different things two different anti spyware programs will find as well, one might pick up on something that another misses.</p>

    Either way, it doesnt hurt to download and run an extra one, worst case scenario is that it doesnt get rid of it. What have you lost? 5 minutes downloading and running it?</p>

    Start with a boot-up disk (you can make them in windows)

    and then type format c:, enter complete low level format, return, problem solved. No more virus.
