Non-footy thread. I was wondering if anyone had had any damp proofing done in the Barnsley area? My Mum is looking for someone reliable. Thanks
If you're a bit handy yourself, you could do it with ease. Look up a product called 'Dry Zone' made by Biokil (I think). Need a drill and 10mm masonry bit, relevant number of cartridges at around £23 each and can hire the injection gun for not very much for a weekend. It's not just a DIY product, the trade swear by it too.
http://www.dampproofingbarnsley.co.uk We use the above for damp & timber surveys at work, never been disappointed.
Sam Cooper, Alldry his company, he's PCA approved too, local guy and spot on aswell. http://www.alldrydampproofing.com/
I did one once. Evening class on Tuesdays, 7 while 9. Practical mainly, but a written exam at the end. Pissed it.
