And so it came to pass whilst out in the depths of the Amazon jungle a platoon of soldiers from the British army along with 2 members from the S.A.S. who incidently might i add came from barnsley..arrived at the secret coded area that they needed to secure. The said area was an important stratigic location In order to stop the local drug barons that were running amok in the said area not only killing but kidnapping and raping local villagers. Upon arriving at the pre destined destination it soon became aware that to secure the said area the river that ran along side must now be crossed ...a river that due to recent monsoons had altered it's course of flow and now sat centre of their operation The problem now presented was how do we cross such dangerous waters that are noted for ferocious flesh eating piranhas. The general who had served in similar situations and could recall that on a previous missions had lost several good men whilst attempting to swim such dangerous waters with ropes to form the pivital rope bridge needed to cross such fast flowing water. He gathered his men and explained the predicament they now faced ....fearing the worse he asked for volunteers Step forward two brave fellas from Doncaster who in their own words had held numerous swimming certificates and were medal holders and held the world record in their own event. The general greatly accepted their offer and the two men took hold of the ropes and dived in ....unfortunately both men soon found themselves surrounded by the flesh eating piranhas and a food frenzy suddenly took place as both men disappeared under the water never to be seen alive again... The general and his officers recoiled in horror at the said scene but knew the importance of crossing the river. They returned to the platoon and arranged for the selection of two more men by drawing straws... unfortunately the previous scene was repeated and two more men were lost. At this point the two Barnsley born S.A.S lads grabbed the ropes and dove in successfully making it to the other side with no problems from the deadly piranhas infested waters 3 months later the lads are presented with bravery medals for their exploits for helping to make the mission a success Prince Phillip upon presenting the medals asked what had been the secret to their success in being able to cross such a dangerous piranhas infested river Oh that's easy to explain replied the Barnsley lads ...we used the same solution to the problem we faced in Africa with crocodile infested waters We jump in the water and we continuously repeat Sheffield Wednesday will win the championship Sheffield Wednesday are the best team in Yorkshire Sheffield Wednesday are better than Barnsley Even crocodiles and piranhas won't swallow that
