    Had a look on the Southend forum.

    They don't seem that sold on Payne. They say he's very lightweight and doesn't produce on a regular basis.

    I think we're getting carried away after seeing him play once.

    LOL at the thought of signing Bentley.

    QPR have had around 3/4 bids turned down for him in the last 2 transfer windows.

    Southend know they're losing him at the end of the season, will be to a championship/Premiership club.

    We really struggle against very little strikers who are partnered by a big physical target man. 5ft 5 Ashley Hunter of Fleetwood ran rings around us in both legs of the JPT Area Final, our Danny Rose caused us many problems at Bury and yesterday we couldn't handle Payne at all.
