If I can fetch a little joy this morning to you all,Daniel had a good trial last night,to be honest both myself and his mum thought he had a fantastic trial,he opened the scoring and made about 3 more he ran his self daft,if they dont pick him I dont know what they want,I am one proud dad and couldnt ask him for anymore.Thats my boy!!!!!

Just that we were there with York,Halifax were poor though.Do they have an age group for Daniel at Halifax?
Dont know Daniels age but at York the U11s play matches,the U10s and U9s just train,some coaches think that they shouldnt start too young,you wouldnt be too far from the Lancashire clubs would you?obviously you want to be at a club as near as you can,some lads travel from Middlesborough to York twice a week to train and then on matchdays,think the rule is you can join a club within 1 and a half hours travelling time so its a 3 hour round trip 3 times a week for some players and their parents, so lets hope you get in at Huddersfield.
