It's a good listen that. He always speaks well and you can't help thinking "Hey, this is OUR manager". He just belongs in that job, despite what some people think on here. I'm not saying that just because he had success with us before and is about to rack up 1,000 games as player/manager and manager that he automatically deserves the job. Life isn't like that. He knows he is as vulnerable as anyone else in the game. The thing is though I feel confident having him in the chair. It might not be a great season this time, or even next year, but we are on the way back up again after a slow and painful slide. I won't blindly accept Danny Wilson in the job just like that. I accept him because he is the right man for the job.
Extra 7 or 8 minutes on Player, where he states his ambition is to take us back to the Championship where we deserve to be 'at least'.
Really wanting to see Bree back again, i enjoy watching him, knowing hes only 17 and looking like hes been playing for years.
I thought you were going to give us a genuine reason why he should be the manager. Sorry if I missed it.
Because his track record in this league is pretty good, he knows the league well. Because he has proved with this club before he is a good, actually, great manager He's got a good eye for a player. Because I suspect he won't leave the club voluntarily, which gives us a chance to build and at the moment, we need stability. Because we have done good young players coming through and he is prepared to blood them He knows the club inside out He is very experienced and so has a strong network Any more?
