Made a point of applauding all 3 BFC stands at the end of the game - which was a damn sight more than most of our players did. I hate this modern phenomenon of not celebrating goals against former clubs - what he did is the proper way. Enjoy doing things for the team you play for and the joy of scoring, and then applaud the fans that supported you in the past at full time. & boy do I wish we still had him. Excellent performance, admittedly against a midfield not on his level.
Carried himself brilliantly. Wonderful footballer, a joy to watch. I loved his goal celebration - bit of a jump, then the respect kicked in. Completely natural & uncontrived. As for Vardy - I wouldn't wish a serious injury on any footballer - but if he got one, it would bother me less than most.
