Ritchie said he is a keen admirer of him and always wanted to sign him. He didnt realise he was available and couldnt believe it when he went to Hudersifled on loan. Why didnt he say to Wednesday: "let us know when hes available" then? He was just next door. Just shows you that theirs quality players available for loan (more importantly, goalscorers) but we havent utilised the market. Played:12(1) Scored:7. Thats a goal every 1.7 games, prolific. Opportunity missed (im not having a go, but we could do/could have done with a striker who scores on a regular basis). Anyway lets hope Ritchie brings one in, in the summer.
oh my god are you dumb????? life and footy dunt work like that. you don't know what ya don't know imagine andy ringing all 92 league clubs saying "let us know when ya might any player go cos we may be interested" he'd have no time to manage the side. also, ever heard of nepotism. the old boys networks is prevalent in footy
Jock Can you read?
He never said anything about phoning other clubs, he just meant David Graham. His comment makes sense to me. What would have been wrong in Ritchie saying to Wednesday "let me know if he becomes available" instead of him just appearing at Huddersfield out of the blue?
