I know he says n bids has been made but he has also sai he does not think Haynes is in the right mind to play Millwall on Saturday. Wonder if Hill is just saying that, or wheter he is off and Burnley dont want him to play Saturday :O
reading between the lines Haynes wants out, and the club want more then what clubs are bidding, so just to get the message that he wants away he sulking like a little girl
stop it - just stop the pointless speculation - it does no-one any good - i've heard from danny today that he's happier here than he's ever been. The reason? .....the management team, their philosophy and plans for the club. You must realise that pointless gossip does nothing to help the club move forward. Put some thought into what you post. Try and understand the consequences of your idle thoughts. please
1. unsettling players 2. unsettling management team 3. creating friction in camp 4. disturbing focus 5. creating false aspirations 6. alerting other clubs to possibilities that aren't there 7. creating unrest amongst fans 8. unnecessary criticism of board and management 9. wasting everyone's frickin time denying rumours when they have better things to do 10. keeping **** journalist in a job. enough?
Couldn't agree more. It's ridiculous. We have 2 defeats from a team and management duo just weeks into a job. The crowd turn and this board melts down with hysteria that the world is going to end. We pull out an excellent win away from home and the board activity drops. Seems to me many are only happy when they can moan about something, and if they can't moan they still aren't happy anyway.
great post Danny, ive noticed how much this board has dropped off since we got a good win. its made me more positive, its exactly what we needed, the players needed, the management needed and we should try and help that positivity and enthusiasm continue. i think we will get at least a point tommorow
OR maybe nobody's made an approach for Haynes, he doesn't want to leave, Hill genuinly thinks he's been unsettled by speculation, and it is all the work of mischievous agents and journo's. Nobody knows other than the clubs involved, so whats the point in speculating when nobody actually knows. We could just wait until next wednesday and see if owt has materialised. For me, if something was going to happen, it would have been in motion by now.
Re: OR for me, i just think hill loves to hear his own voice, so you never know what to beleive, on saying that i hope he sorts it all out, as for the problem he has with certain sections of the fans, he brought it all on himself by promising so much and delivering so little, Ive started taking what he says with a pinch of salt as i honestly beleive hes playing us for fools at times....thats not to say i want him to fail far from it, just wish at times he concentrated on sorting things out rather than courting the media...2 eyes 2 ears 1 mouth....the latter seems to do most of his work....
I see no reason at all to not believe Hill. Under these circumstances what would he gain from lying? Nothing at all IMO.
Haynes not in the right frame of mind? He certainly wasn't last Saturday at Reading when he just couldn't be bothered to exert himself - whilst his team mates were flogging their guts out. Remember he was hauled off after just 53 minutes. I reckon they'll have given him some stick - he deserves it!
what have i missed? is he off? if so we're fecked, deadlines this wednesday and i don't see owt happening before then :\
Hill was honest about Shackell leaving, why would he be any different with Danny Haynes? Personally, I think he's a decent player but nothing more, if the right offer comes in then let him go and bring someone in who will make an effort on a Saturday afternoon.
