I'm beginning to wonder, it's been going on forever, I thought 6-8 weeks at the most for a groin or hamstring injury, but this is never ending and all KH says when asked about Haynes is "He's getting there etc etc!"
Did you hear the interview a few weeks ago where the Radio Sheff reporter asked Keef about his injury update and he replied something like "l'm not here to talk about Danny Haynes l'm concentrating on Saturdays game and the players l have available for that" Quite a strange response, although l feel someone on here may correct me... that is what all managers do, at their UEFA training badge course during Media studies they are told to respond like that, its modern football, he knows what hes doing etc..etc..
Yes, I heard that. He got a bit shirty at the question I felt. Mmm It's not really looking good is it?
Danny in the programme 17 days ago... . "Ive got to make sure that when I am back fit, that I am electric, and basically talk by playing. I am here for the LONG-TERM, and here to help BARNSLEY get as far as WE can.." . Yep, sounds like a goner...
I hope he stays Whitey. I hope all of the rumours are just that and that we see him playing in a red shirt again.
Aye, another one bites the dust there I'm afraid. It doesn't stack up. Shame, cos I'd like to see him playing off Davies as a front two. Think it's late in the day for a comeback now though.
Re: Worst gossip ever in this thread Hamstring injuries run the gamut of severity from slight strains and pulls to severe tears and ruptures and require anything from a couple of weeks out to surgical intervention. The length of time you need to recover depends on the extent of the tear. Ask Michael Owen how long you can be out with a hamstring injury. Ask him again what happens when you come back too early. Danny Haynes has said he wants to play for us, Keith Hill has said he wants Danny to play for us, so there's absolutely no reason for us to think otherwise. He's out with an injury and he'll be back playing when he's ready.
Re: Worst gossip ever in this thread Thanks for that, I had no idea that these type of injuries take so long to heal. It's just that there hasn't been any news at all about him, no interviews that I've seen, (others may have done so), but it's almost as if he doesn't exist anymore.
