Word on the street is that Danny Haynes will complete a move from #Barnsley fc to #CAFC - possibly in time to face #swfc on Saturday.
Hill, played him in most of the first 5 games. He played up top against Morecambe, Boro and Reading, and off the bench at Millwall. He then came off the bench against Leicester and missed one-on-one. Then, picked to start against Watford, he "got injured possibly as a consequence of not warming up properly" Did his hamstring, and was out for months as Davies, Gray and Vaz Te did their bit. And when he has had the odd sub appearance, he has done little to suggest that he warrants a place ahead of Vaz Te, O'Brien or Davies... thems the facts. And while it would be nice to keep him as an option, it makes no financial sense. Shame? Maybe. Unfair on Danny? No. He had his chances, didnt take em. Ricardo and Craig have done, and, even Andy Gray
Agree........really really sorry to see this guy leave .......it would be nice to get to know why he is leaving
Re: Agree........really really sorry to see this guy leave Barnsley have rejected an offer from Charlton for Danny Haynes, but talks are continuing. Deal could be done for the #swfc game on Saturday.
Re: Agree........really really sorry to see this guy leave Wow that must have been a derisory bid. we never turn a bid down
Re: Agree........really really sorry to see this guy leave Rumour has it that he is disruptive in the dressing room - hence he never lasts very long at any club. That was certainly the impression I got when I was "behind the scenes" at the Leeds game.
