Actually I think it's quite astute if it was deliberate. Like many things, last season feels like yesterday and an age ago at the same time. Perhaps I'm reading too much into it.

There's too many 'pretty boys' for my liking now. Reuben and Dale are alright but they're a bit young. Saying that, all footballers will be too young soon; how depressing is that?

 

What depressed me is that young lad Bree that cam on against QPR last season wasn't even born when Marcelle scored the goal to take us into the Prem. That makes me feel so old and i'm only 23!

I wasn't there, by brother got the ticket next to my dad so I couldn't go. Turns out he's not even into football now whereas i love it. Well love Barnsley anyway.

I remember my dad getting home and being all excited & how it changed the town. Also went to Wembley in the play off final. Definitely born quite a while before 1998 though! Still young, but not that young. I had a Walkman Cassette player and everything.
