Must be worth a place on the bench for us?

Wonder what is minutes to goals ratio is.

Wilson's gone and loaned out our BEST goalscorer. Madness.

Probably is now, but we can't bring him back. That said, it is league 2, Nardiello has scores twice for Bury today.

he may well be a regular in the squad next season...even if its on the bench, no matter what league we end up playing in.

Hardly, let's not forget that he's scoring in a team playing two leagues below us. He still has a lot to do as a championship striker.

Look, I like the lad, but don't think now in our current position is the right time for hm. And if it's the bit about having ago at Wilson, about 99% of your recent posts are either an outright attack or a roundabout dig

I've gone on record already as saying I'd prefer him on our bench. I think he offers summat different, similar to Pedersen really. I think Proschwitz has been a huge let down after a promising start, and he's basically a weaker, lazier version of COG. And with Reuben having knee trouble again we're not exactly flush with options up top are we?

So yes, I'd have preferred Danny on our bench right now.

However, the fact he's scoring in League Two isn't influencing my thinking. And, I don't see how anyone can have a dig at Wilson over it because at the time of sending him to Bury, we had Reuben and Pedersen fit and available. **** happens.

Happy that he's scoring down there, and look forward to seeing him back here next season doing the same.

    In the second tier.

No attacks on Danny W from me but I would rather Danny R be coming off our bench for the last 15 minutes than any other forward we have.

You were happy enough when he went, now you're using Rose's success to criticise Danny Wilson?

Quote: Hemsworth Tyke, the day he went to Bury.
Really happy for Danny Rose, Hope he can get games down there and score goals.

Seen other players come back from loans a lot better, If he comes back even a improved players than he will defo be fitting for a place in the first team.

Danny Rose last season 2 goals in 9 games, most off the bench.

Jason Scotland this season 2 goals in 23.

So who would have been better on the bench?

I think Danny Rose has a fantastic future. I wish he was available to us tomorrow, and I see him playing a big role next year.
I'd prefer him to be on our bench tomorrow.

What I'm pointing out is the contradiction of slating Wilson for letting him out on loan, when alot of us (including Hemmsy) were happy to see him get game time.
At the time he went on loan, Jason Scotland had gone; and we had Proschwich and Pedersen available.

Hemmsy is taking the opportunity to have another dig at Wilson.

It's not the first time he's done a u-turn. When I was looking for the post where I said M'Voto would be unrecognisable for us by the end of the season, I saw loads of posts where he was massively bigging up Luke Steele.

I'm a big Danny Rose fan but what is this based on? Scoring at league 2 level doesn't mean he's our best goalscorer at championship level.

O'Grady, Pederson & Proschwitz would all be quality in league 2.

I think that young Danny is getting good experience whilst at Bury, getting used to scoring regularly and starting to show his real worth. He will come back a better player at the start of next season and would be more likely to have developed into the regular goal-scorer we know he can become. I doubt that he would have made the impact with us at this level this season, so the loan is good all round.
