    Had a decent April... Kennedy is not championship quality but a top quality league one full back...

    In Danny we trust...

    Bobby has been great servant, I agree coaching role would be nice sentiment. But Danny is not paid to be sentimental. Out with the old and in with the new we need to look to the future. Bobby is no spring chic and injuries have cut short game time. Another one of the wage bill may free up funds to add quality.

    Based on what exactly? 15 years in lower leagues? sacked from every one of those jobs? Maybe he turned us around? win percentage of 22% since his return? Bad signings all released? or maybe the failure to communicate with the players? I am afraid you are living with rose tinted specs on thinking about our season in the sun. He has done nothing at all this time around and I fear survival again will be out target next season.

    tell you what, doesn't matter what league we are in, Kennedy still won't be able to cross, take a corner, maintain any kind of defensive discipline or stay close to a man...

    how people think that dropping down a league will suddenly make you better at this or other things is beyond me.

    In our first season in L1 we had Joe Widdowson at LB who had come in after Kennedy had gone to Leicester in the close season. We had a bit of a stutter Nov/Dec time and Hill brought Kennedy back on loan. Before long he was on the bench and Widdowson was back in the side.

    Don't get me wrong, Kennedy was excellent in L2 for Dale, but he didn't look half as good in L1. Widdowson had a crucial advantage over him - pace. In L1 you'll need it, all over the park.
