Favourite for the Crawley job too. He's only 4/6 with us because there really isn't another serious contender.
Interesting although I remember last time the odds moved about all over the place before Flicker got the job. I think the fluctuation in odds probably just means someone has put a tenner on him and unless it's Ben M then probably means nowt.
its more then a 10er looking at the pattern of time and odds start of day 9/1, 08-48 6/1, 09-53 4/1, 10-17 5/2, 10-19 7/4, 10-24 evs, 10-35 4/6 that to me would say continued money being placed on him this morning
He'll have a say but if the chairman and CEO want someone he would go with it surely. I think they have been brought in so he doesn't have to make as many decisions
I just think with him getting a friend in who alsos got great knowledge in football along with Ben he will let them do what they want really.
Its a good shout, but we probably need an old head to steady the ship. It wont happen but i personally would like warnock with someone like redfearn or even hassel learning the ropes to takeover in a couple of seasons.....provided they haven't been sacked before the end of the season that is
Wilson / Redfearn Warnock / Hassell Can't see a Tidsdale or Appleton getting anywhere near a shirt list, to be honest. We have to have EXPERIENCE as part of the next set up.
Just can't see a manager with recent championship experience wanting it, and if they do it is likely that experience has been of failure to an extent that we are their only option. I certainly wouldn't be unhappy with Wilson, but I think Tisdale is one of the best young managers in the game. Plays brilliant football, works to very tight budgets, is very professional and is successful. And he is the second longest serving managers in the football league with lots of experience.
I got told last Wednesday if we lost to Birmingham flicker would be gone and that danny Wilson will be approached to be the next manager. half that statement is done with,so its wait and see time now. I'd still like to see Ian Hollaway as the next manager tho'.
I'm quite relaxed as to who we appoint & it's pleasing to see there's been a number of realistic suggestions on here. If I knew anything about football, I'd also be claiming that certain individuals would definitely be poor choices as manager. Thankfully, I don't.
I've got to say that I'm also quite relaxed about it this time too.We got some different personnel running the job now in Mr Watkins and ar Ben.Patrick Cryne's problems seem to be behind him so with a bit of renew'd optimism I think we are in a better position than when the likes of Butcher and O'driscoll gave us the elbow.
