On his second tenure at BFC:-

    Played 38
    Won 9
    Drawn 9
    Lost 20

Whichever way you look at it........that is poor.

If he carries on with this win ratio, then I cant see an argument for keeping him.

this 38 games nonsense... actually its 39 according to Huddersfield Red... How the Hell is it fair to lump in the games that he had the inherited players from Hill and Flitcroft. I accept even his (Mr Wilson) record with the ELEVEN competitive games he has managed so far with HIS chosen few are not impressive... but hey we have a new set of lads , a handful of the ones he wanted to keep from last term and a good measure of promising academy lads breaking through as our League One squad. I am sick to the stomach about our position and our performances... but we seriously must give it much more time. Even if you get rid of Wilson... the new squad still needs so much more time to get it together. We will not be able to have a 'fire' sale of the present squad ju... and even if we can its gonna be January before that can happen. Take a deep breath and think it over ... Mr Wilson will be here till January at the least, so like him or loathe him, at least get behind the players.... especially the home grown ones.

    Re: Pastas Stats

On top of that the players he has signed are significantly worse than those who have released for example hassell and you won't like these but wiseman and Kennedy were both better than dudgeon

No they weren't, Dudgeon is the better player, better than both, just plagued by injuries unfortunately.

A famous man once said my Young Friend

and you are obviously VERY young..

The very famous man said ...

" there are lies, Damned lies.... and then there are STATISTICS" the Wilson assasins on here are giving up the figure of 38 games... the Wilson supporters are saying 11 games... so which set of statistics do you want ... its like the Government... when they announce the unemployment figures..... then they get "SEASONALLY" adjusted....

Statistics do not lie..... YEAH FECKIN REYT

    Re: Pastas Stats

Correct me if I am wrong but didn't Wilson bring in 8 of his own signings ( Proschwitz, Woods, Hunt, Lawrence, Frimpong, Turner, Shea, McLaughlin ) which flaws the argument that you can't count 38 games?

    Re: Pastas Stats

How the hell can you dismiss the first 28 games, all managers arrive and have to deal with what they they have been left with. Maybe you would prefer to start counting Wilson's games when his players have settled in, unfortunately we don't all believe in fairy tales only facts.

Facts are just that Redstar. Same facts we use to judge Hill and Flitcroft too. I want nothing more than a winning Barnsley FC team, I just don't think we will see that under the current stewardship. On a personal level I find Danny very likeable, but unfortunately without success in the last 16 years. The game has moved on.

The last time I looked it's still about scoring goals whilst stopping the other side doing so.

    Name me an alternative...

I have absolutely no thoughts at all on Manchester United, unlike yourself who seems obsessed with them.

You appear to have an awful lot of time on your hands. So could you look up the stats for Fergie's first year at Man U and Clough's first year at Derby? Cheers.
