Those damn statistics, you can't argue wi em can you? Except that they were boosted with 4 seasons at Bristol City where he had one of the league's biggest budgets and failed to get them out of League 1. Also at the biggest club in League 1, Sheff Utd where although maybe harshly, he was sacked... Oh and a promotion season with Hartlepool in League 2. Not exactly a glittering career.

I'd have preferred a risk on a top ex player, say a Nicky Butt than going back to Mr Wednesday. Having said that he'll probably do ok next season in League One. With the current squad another miracle is not on the cards this term.
