Frustration that he's given the story behind Mellon going, and Giddings still went on about it - plus the 'have the players given up' ? question - Wilson covering for a lot of folk imho.
I thought he dealt with him very well. Despite Giddings trying his best to labour the points, Danny simply cut him off at every turn.
Interview spoilt after that, cos DJW clammed up a bit imho. Can't say as I blame him, given the events.
Giddings asking the tough questions that fans want journalists to ask and getting cut off for it. Pressure showing for Danny.
i don't have a problem with giddings' interview at all. he's asking the questions that the fans are. yes they're tough questions. and rightly so. for me, danny has gone on the defensive. who knows, maybe a bit of siege mentality is what's needed?
is it surprising that they're the same questions though? we were $hit last week and we were $hit again this week. the same questions apply for me.
About Mellon ? Other than that it was injuries, and 10 minutes on 'have the players given up' ? No specifics, no targeted questions. Bit poor really imho
I haven't got a problem with any of that, the interviewer or the interviewee. I thought the questions were fine, even if, like Extremely Northern stated, they were repeats of last week. Bit of a waste of his time like, but he's entitled to do it if he wants. I thought the answers from Danny were fine too, ie "I've already told you, let's move on." Didn't sound like he was cracking under the pressure to me, just not wanting to repeat himself and have things twisted. I wish we'd win more football matches, there's been little or no improvement on that score, but as far as interviews are concerned, we're well up on what we've had to endure for years as far as I'm concerned. Trouble is, we don't get any points for them.
