yes if and i say IF we win at bury, we will indeed move up to 7th. who would have believed it when the original bury away fixture was postponed on boxing day, and we were in desperate trouble.
but if Southend beat Burton on Monday it will be 8th . But hey I would be more than happy with that, considering we were bottom a while back.
Re: but if Southend beat Burton on Monday we have a better goal diff than the Blunts do dragon, so any sort of win will put us up to 7th.
Rolleyes? How about reading what he said. If Southend beat burton Monday, they will go to 7th on 50 points, so if we then beat bury we could only go eighth. The fact we'd be above the blunts wasn't questioned
i read what he said and he didnt say any of that!! i didnt know southend were playing on monday night, so now its all about their result as well as we try to move up to 7th.
It's in his title rather than what he wrote , appears on the iPhone, not sure how you view. Either way it's not worth arguing about
i dont understand all that i-phone stuff, im just on a normal pc. And yes i can see now he altered the subject title which i also didnt notice.
Don't know if he edited before I read it - but he did mention the Monday game as you can see. Like I say though it's not worth arguing over. If someone told me we'd have a chance of top eight before the end of Feb at Christmas I'd have pis*ed my pants! Onward and upward
definitely, and when we were bottom of the table i think relegation was looking like a certainty. now we have that chance of almost 50 points by the end of Feb.
ok heres the Math... lets say that Southend beat Burton on Monday... and we beat Bury the following day......with me so far? they (Southend) presently have 47 points... so add 3 points to that then they will have 50 points. we presently have 45 points.. so plus 3 points would make 48 points when I did sums at 'Skewl' I was always lead to believe that 50 was a bigger number than 48 unless of course you know different that is.
hehehehehehe good effort fella... born and bred in Barnsley, but hey lets just savour the fact that the corner has been turned 'Big Style' we are totally in with a good shot at the play-offs...and we have a great day out at Wembley to look forward to... suddenly from being bottom and miserable the Sun has really got his hat on for us. I am cautious and will not be upset if we fall short of the play-offs...also Oxford are not gonna be a push over if you look at what they are doing in L2... but its great to have all this positive optimism abounding now , rather than the gloom that was with us around Christmas. Sorry for being sarky with the "Math" post but lets just all enjoy our good fortunes right now.
Re: hehehehehehe bear in mind we had 21 points on boxing day, from 22 games. it took us just 7 more games to double that total and pick up another 21 points. i dont think its quite sunk in yet just how good weve been since christmas onwards, and the rest of this season could still be an absolutely massive one for us.
As long as we're above that shower of ***** from Bumhole lane I'll be happy. Listening to their fans on the radio you'd be forgiven for thinking they were bottom of the league without a win all season.
thats one of the things that bugs me the most Mario, fans of certain clubs who simply cant and wont accept what level they are currently at. this means the blunts in lg one, and the likes of leeds and notts forest in the championship. i stopped listening to radio pig years ago because of certain idiotic blunts and fowls fans.
I think the issue stems from how people use this forum. I use Tapatalk on my Samsung phone and I can't see the subject box for any of the replies. Sent from my I-Oven using the internets
