Dare we say we have a good chance of 6 points in the next two games?

or at least 4? We could be sitting in the top ten with some interesting games coming up over the xmas period.

Expected 3 pts often fail to materialise, Watford at home past few seasons for example.

Would be good to get 6 points .. We are capable of a top half finish. Just hope we don't go down with the Christmas decorations like we have done over the past few seasons

    It's achievable

I'd even go as far as saying, all of our next 3 are winnable games, it's just whether or not we turn up. We seem to have a very questionable performance every so often after a bit of a purple patch. Bristol City at home, and the 2nd half vs Portsmouth for example.

we really could get anywhere between 0 and 9 points in the next 3

All 3 games are winnable but as already mentioned in this thread we are great to play when you are out of form and desperate for a win

I think I would say 5 points out of the next 3 games is decent and 6 would be great
Draws at Peterborough and home to Ipswich who will have a new manager by then and beating Palace but we could win all 3 or lose all 3 - thats the joy of being a Barnsley fan

    Re: 8?

5 points is great if means unbeaten then. 6 obviously better but would mean a defeat of course so content with 5.

    Can't see why couldn't get 7.

Would be great to go a little run now in these next three games, picking up points and confidence heading into what will be some tricky but exciting xmas fixtures. Might even help us sell a few half season tickets if we can rack up a few points and be within striking distance of the play-offs come the half-way mark...

Better just take it one game at a time though, we tend to get altitude sickness any time we get near the top half of the table! :D

Re: we really could get anywhere between 0 and 9 points in the next 3

I would like to see us get 4 points from the next 6 available, important we dont lose on Sat and therefore keep the momentum going - a draw on Sat and a win at home on Tuesday would pleae me.

Then look at it again for the Ipswich game - I dont like looking too far ahead! but if we did come out with at least 4 points from the first 2 games you have to look at wining your home games so who knows, maybe we could end up with 7 from 9 and where would that leave us?

oooh I havent thought like this for years - nurse bring the tablets...
