These are some of the darkest days I have seen after nearly thirty years of watching and supporting. When we were on the absolute edge after John Dennis had us on the brink - that's the feeling I have now. When we got relegated by Norwich and dropped into lower legue football, that's the feeling. Just an empty feeling, desolate, hopeless. I can't believe we have publicly put our cards on the table for Sean O'Driscol, and when rejected we have gone public on offering Terry Butcher the most lucrative deal in our history... Only to be refused again. Something is deeply wrong at the heart of our club. Take all the ideas of established managers - we'll get someone who is unknown, or someone who is damaged goods. Baring a miracle this ship is sinking. I'm sickened by it.
What I cannot understand is that if we have openly offered the best financial deal for the Manager, in the history of BFC, then why was this not offered to Mick McArthy in an attempt to leverage him to his spiritual home?
Micky McCarthy is a million billion miles outside our budget in terms of transfer fees he would request and wages for players
