Released by Birmingham, always thought he was a decent player could he fit into our midfield

Hardly played for them though, not sure if that was because of injury or form

Birmingham fans didn't rate him at all. But then some players just don't fit certain clubs.

Only played 6 times for them. Premiership experience, not a bad shout but wages might be an issue?

Would be a quality signing - he used to tear up this league for palace a couple of years ago

I seem to remember him scoring to send Wednesday down.

Not good enough for Birmingham, doubt if he's good enough for Flicker.

Flawed logic - chris O'Grady isnt even good enough for the Fowls but he is definitely good enough for Flicker.
Ambrose was definitely good enough - so if flicker can get him back to his best he would be a good addition - but it depends how Flicker sees it himself

Your opinion. Sorry not mine. One of the many overrated and overpaid in the game today.

Alan Lee I think - didn't he finish Leeds off too?

    I'll back Flitcroft's judgement

He appears to be able to bring something out of players some of us didn't know, or appreciate, was present. There's a number of players in our squad who we fans were quick to criticise with regards to their abilities, sometimes before they'd even pulled on a shirt. If Flitcroft decides he wants to bring Ambrose into the club, that's fine by me. If he doesn't, that's also fine.

Just had a look. Wednesday needed to win to stay up but only drew 2-2 with Palace. Lee put them 1-0 up before Clarke equalised. Ambrose then put them 2-1 before Purse equalised but they couldn't get a winner.

No, Ambrose did score to send Wednesday down at Hillsborough the last time they went down - well, he scored the goal that put Wednesday behind for the 2nd time, anyway.
