Whats going off.

 

1. The transfer window is closed
2. Hecky has had a far more stressful season where he has been covering somebody elses job on top of his own.
3. No point being here when you've got no budget.

 

I would take Hecky and his phone being off over Ferguson and him trying to sign players already. Ferguson is a garbage manager.

Also, Hecky mentioned how he didn't get a holiday last summer so I'm pretty sure he deserves one and someone else at the club can be on phone duty.

 

When do you think Hecky should go on holiday then? Or do you think he shouldn't be allowed to ever have one until he retires at 60 odd? He can't go during season time, he can't go during pre-season so now seems like the perfect time to me. Most players will be going on holiday now themselves anyway.

 

Phil is making a good point. Since BM left the club, its gone backwards in its communication with fans.That said I don't blame him ( PH ) I think id want to go on holiday and take a serious look at what the future holds .....I reckon if PH wasn't BFC through and through he would be scratching fu#k it...on it...let's face it something isn't right behind the scenes regardless of PCS health problems. .only my opinion....anyway everybody to their own.....enjoy the summer break guys.this will be my last post for some months. ..... possibly catch you in August. ...

 

In an ideal world Hecky should be able to finish the season, give his list of potential signings and retain list to the club, go on holiday and properly relax and re-charge the batteries. This should be safe in the knowledge that someone at the club is beavering away trying to make moves and tie deals up (or at least from June onwards depending on contractual context). Let's hope this happens!

 

I started a thread about the transfer window & people on this board would be moaning if we were not active straight away & I got a bit of stick over it & hey ho, the seasons not over & the cynics are all ready firing the shots.

That's what's happening. Retained list is out next week. Hecky says he's going to turn his phone off and take his missus to the USA. When he gets back they are then get some time away with their kids. Once that's done he's going turn to recruiting new players for the new season.

 

Hecky deserves a holiday , works his socks off for the club . Everybody deserves a holiday who works hard

 

He's entitled to a holiday and May is probably the best time for him to go.

When they take the position it's something that you have to give up.

There's no excuses and the best managers go without this. Conte at Chelsea sleeps for quite a short period at a time so he can spend a couple of hours with family then 16 hours a day on football. Getting up at stupid o'clock to watch training ground video's or opposition.

Watched a doc style feature on him and his Wife regularly woke up whilst he was managing in Italy very early in the morning, she would look round and notice he wasn't there. Go to wind him and he would be studying to make sure that his teams wouldn't ever be at a disadvantage.

I think I read he went back to italy, she thought he was going to see her, no he was going to watch a game and seeing her fit around that.

 

True. I just hope he isn't going on a Hoseasons break.

 

He's not acting as CEO though is he? Hecky will be doing plenty of hours in his own job never mind all the extra work that he is having to do. That Conte has plenty of coaches too makes his job easier not to mention an actual management structure at Chelsea.

But don't let any of that stop you ripping him.

 

Of course he is entitled to a holiday he has kids hasn't he and a wife? Don't get time back with your kids when there grown up. A Well deserved holiday after the job he has done.

3) hardly any transfer activity happens before June and the players return from holiday. Why pay wages for players finger blasting their way around the med.
4) Conte at best is ******* mental. That Kante at Chelsea has nowt on him when you compare playing styles.
5) Get up hemsworth, get in Spoons. Have a beer. Talk **** to real people. Your a young lad. Enjoy it while you've chance.

 

Why do you insist on comparing every little thing we do to clubs like Chelsea? It's really bizarre that you can't see that there is no comparison at all.

You have no Idea how many hours Hecky works or what he has sacrificed to get where he is.

There is no comparison between managing Chelsea and managing Barnsley.

 

Hecky probably does all those things too. Does Conte do that every single day of every single year for his whole working life? Are you saying that he hasn't been on a single holiday since he's been a manager? If so then I think it's him with his priorities wrong, not Hecky. His kids deserve a family holiday with their dad and this seems like the perfect time of the year for Hecky to take one, for the reasons everyone else has mentioned in this thread.

Two holidays in a season? Burn him
