How much **** does this guy talk? Said they dominated the second half. I know shots don't tell the whole story but Davies made one save all game if I can remember correctly. We should've been well clear going in at half time and fully deserved the 3 points.
the bloke is an absolute pratt, although weve never had a good relationship with him have we from his time at peterbrough & preston. didnt we sing things like "your dads a c*t, and so are you!!" to him and remember the day when we sent the posh down, the look on his face then while we were celebrating was priceless
you do realise he is a Cwnt though? surely, just look who his Dad is the King of Cwnts. facts possession 56% - 44% in Our favour shots for us 15...10 on target shots them 4...2 on target corners for us 14 corners for them 4 goals for us 1 goals for them 0 yup that's domination innit but hey maybe he means the dirty fouling filth bags they are fouls us 7 fouls them ..... 13, well dominated Darren... what a pratt yes that's domination for them innit
they have always been dirty gits at our place. remember that foggy night in 2004 when john doolan was 'allegedly' under instruction to take out steven mcphail. and out of sheer frustration we ended up booing everytime michael chopra touched the ball.
We had a 10-15 minute spell when our midfield was on top, still created nothing, we're not nearly good enough & could well go down.
I'd agree with that. First 20 minutes we played you off the park didn't score and then you tried to kick us off the park with some pretty poor challenges but it was a derby so only to be expected. You lacked invention and guile but a draw migh have been a fairer result. Your lad that took White out should have been sent off cynical challenge with intent.
I thought a couple of ours were lucky today, yellow when maybe a red & a couple of yellows should have been dished out but wasn't, that said I thought the ref gave us nothing 1st half (I read on here you lot think differently) but cannot blame the ref for yet another gutless display, 2 poor sides today but you lot looked better than Sheff Utd last week. Had the laugh at the blokes outside singing the wheels on your house, must have been late 40's early 50's, I couldn't cringe enough for them!! Sadly some of our young uns made a bit of a mess in the toilets & the soap dispensers were being kicked about. Dickheads in either side I suppose. Felt for the lad who got stretchered off who'll probably miss Wembley
maybe fergie jnr goes out of his way now where we are concerned, as i said theres never been a good relationship between him, and us as fans. as for adie white, yes its tragic if he is going to be out that long for what sounded like an appalling deliberate cynical foul.
2 poor sides? I'd say we looked tired in the 2nd half, but in the first, we were streets ahead. Had we finished better, it could easily have been 3-0 at HT. Just when your players thought they couldn't cope with Hammill, they had White charging through. (and that's when he got brought down). Wheels on your house - not quite as cringey as "What's it like to shag your Mum". or that group of sheep who bizarrely decided to stand at the front. You could tell, that having followed each other on the epic adventure to the front of the stand, they all individually realised the folly of standing in the rain, but not one of them dared to make the first move back. Half time couldn't come quick enough. Thought Keegan played well. Seemed to boss midfield in that spell in the second half. Your central defenders dealt with pretty much everything so they deserve some credit. I think Donny have enough about them to avoid relegation, but they need some creativity.
I must admit I agree with more of what's written on here than on our forum but I don't think you were much cop in the 1st half to be honest (admittedly much better than us). Also I thought Keegan was awful today & I'd release him in the summer along with many others. Got to agree on the chavs at the front in the pissing down rain, what a set of cocks.
I don't think anyone could have grumbled had we been 3-0 up after 10-15 minutes. Hammill four times (mostly of his own making) and Hourihane once were all good chances that would have been buried on another occasion. They then started to reduce the onslaught a bit with cynical fouling (how Keegan never got booked is beyond me) and the assault on Aidy White, had a bit of unthreatening possession after half time and then went totally out of it after we scored (and we had the best and only real chances thereafter). He may have been at fault for the goal but their keeper was head and shoulders their MoM. My feeling about Donny was that they didn't look like troubling us, let alone scoring, if they'd played until Easter (a feeling I know something about given our own spell earlier in the season). Given that we had a reconstructed defence they must be really worried about their toothlessness. We won at an absolute canter for mine, without ever really hitting our straps, Hammill apart and a good cameo from Scowen. A word too for the continually improving Mawson who did most things well with time for a cup of tea too today and Williams who has never let us down at left back.
I don't think you will go down but you need to get better that's for sure. You need your manager to give an honest assessment that the stats back up, not some politician chatter of a match only he surely saw that way. Many of our team had very little league one experience between them before this season and we finished with who's not even our first choice right back playing as our third choice left back. Despite all that we outplayed you.
He said on the radio that he couldn't recall us having a shot in the first half. We had 2 on target inside the first 3 minutes. Sent from my I-Oven using the internets
I've seen much worse sides this season to be honest. I thought the 2nd half was pretty even, but very drab after what I thought was quite an entertaining first half. We weathered the spell of pressure you had pretty well but I don't remember Davies having to make a save; there was the one from Keegan in the first half iirc that went just wide. I think we had enough chances to win the game twice or three times over. You'll be well clear at the end of the season for sure. Fergie Jr was always going to suffer a bad patch.
