can be played different ways. Theres not a right or wrong way. England have good players to play that way. Rooney up top Young/ walcott or downing or johnson or lennon will scare any back 4's. Parker/ rodwell/ jones are perfect for that way of football. Gerrard or jack wilshere . Good attacking fullbacks. Cole and Johnson/ walker.
Tmra will be a better test. Sweden are the sort of country we struggle with. And next year there are going to be 3 strong teams no matter what group we get.. Terry, Walker, Rodwell, Sturridge and Zamora to start tmra n all, apparently.. oh, and Phil, Darren Gough knows **** all about football tbh. Id love to have a debate with him anyway.. and that Durham, jeez. What a clot
I would hope so yes. I think we have a lot of very good players. I think that Hart is improving massively and a keeper is for me the most important player in the defence. Rooney on saturday night would have been switched on (unlike in montenegro). When the chips are down i think we'll run is blood to water. As people have seen on here, i think the 442 formation isn't for modern football, simple. Jones/ walker/ jags/ walcott (wasn't a first team played in 2006?)/ welbeck/ young. BTW , i wish FC would have played Rooney on saturday because we are most likely to play in that style when he would be available.
He keeps going on about it been a friendly and yes thats what it was called but there isn't a club type friendly in international football in November. These are fully fit players,
Im playing a game from now on.. I score one point if I understand the thread, and a point for each of his posts I also understand.. then two points if I dont cringe, shudder or shake my head when reading em.. and three points if I agree with ANYTHING he says.. but there is also a magical bonus score of a hundred points, if I can get him to agree with me, or get him to admit he was wrong.. So far, I have scored a maximum of two points from this thread.. dont hate the hemsworth, hate the game
