Hope to **** there arent too many nimble, quick strikers around in Championship this season or we're fecked
Horses for courses. It'll be a decent partnership against certain hoofball teams, like Stoke were last season. For other games we have Foster who reads the game really well against the pacey strikers.
Agreed. But Hull had Campbell - you'd hope in games like that, Foster would be given the role of marking him. Moore's probably got the same amount of pace as Nyatanga, to be fair.
Watched Souza last season and see Moore on & off for last 10 or so. Dont need to wait to see what their styles and pace are. Think I'm allowed an opinion wi out nippers telling me to shut up
Moore and Souza are slow Souza isn't the quickest, and Moore...well we all saw him last season, but i expect Moore to read the game better than how Souza does, not that Souza is bad at it just that moore has bags of experience...probably too much! not impressed with the calibre of signings...but im not jusding anyone til the end of next season.
I reckon Foster & Souza will remain the first choice pairing and SD will use Big Daz as back up. However, I feel he will still have a big part to play and will regularly be used as sub late in games to add physical presence. Moore's 35 now, not the quickest but he never has been. He's a good defender and vastly experienced. He's very influential and will be good to have around the dressing room. Top signing!!!!
I think the clue to his role is in this quote from SD</p>"He will play a big part in our squad next season both on and off the pitch and his experience will be a massive bonus for us"
