    it's in Chron that

never rated him really, ok he's got the big black lad thing and that size and presence does help in being a centre half but he seems to have no sense of position, every time I saw Derby concede a goal (quite often really) Moore was floundering not close to the ball and not close to anyone else in the box. Perhaps he will have enough to be ok at second division level, but he doesn't look as good as Nyatanga

If I'm thinking of the right person, I saw him playing for Bradford in 1998 and he was like a brick ***** house that no striker could get through or around (I was watching Norwich V Bradford as I worked for the ex Norwich chairman), well that was 10 years ago, no idea what his ability is like now. But I remember saying back then on the old BBS that I wish he played for us.

derby's player of the year, but come on, best of a bag of *****. I have total faith in SD though. Moore would certainly win a lot in the air and maybe we could make him more athletic via loss of weight (hard pre-season) and Davey's sport science and good diet approach

    sounds like him

but nowadays I just think you need a little bit more than that, but as I said maybe at our level that will be enough. At least it will add some more experienced depth to the squad.

If no-one can get through or around him now it's because he has expanded to fill the penalty area in its entirety.

He'd be signed as a squad player, and someone to bring on late in games if we're winning and facing an onslaught of high balls into the box.

Would be a decent signing for squad depth and cover.

Knowlesy, I couldn't agree more. He stood out all season as being quite shocking, consistently, and more than any other premier league player. I suspect if he did come, he would go the same way as Johnson did.

Seriously, you're telling me he was their best player!!!??? Rams fans definately took it all in their stride this season then. Maybe Hristov should have been our '98 Player of the year?

that would be my worry too, souza is not great when dealing with pace, frazer campbell's goals for hull against us last season were a classic example of this, and if he was paired alongside moore, we would struggle against pace even more so.

Looks like I am getting my boots back out then.

Cos if he is good enough to play bforn us , then so am I .
He is slower than a 2 legged tortoise .
I would have had him when we were promoted to the prem tho, but that was 11 years ago.
