Fantastic performance tonight! MotM for me, never gave an inch and shoved a fair few idiots words right back down their throats!

Thought Colace had a good game and Da Silva looked to gain in confidence!

Hume and JCR, sensational as always!

All in all, a great performance with intensity, passion and confidence! In their faces, closing down harrassing them, where was that at Palace?!

I was just going to say how strange it was that nobody was slagging him off tonight!

Sorry pal but NO WAY was he MOTM. Only 1 man and that was JCR

I gotta admit it was his best game for us, but there were a few nervy moments from him

But credit where credit is due

This game was made for him

slow aggresive nasty Barsteward forward line, lots of ball in the air.... Darren's yer man...as was Souza. Thought both fullbacks created well and Colace was very good. Da silva had a couple of good touches but still to me looks well off the pace. Good performance against a very poor Wednesday side.

    You are right

I wasn't meaning to be critical of Da Silva, his career could have been over and it will take time to bed himself back in. Some of the numpty comments about him after the Palace match were unbelievable.

aye, he's probably been rushed back a bit to be honest - i would have expected him to have played 4 or 5 reserve games before first team but I think he only played a couple.

    RE: You are right

Which "numpty" comments would they be then? The ones which quite accurately pointed out that he had a very poor game.
Oh! and if he has to protect his leg, then he isn't fit enough and shouldn't be playing. Just another example of Davey being quite prepared to jeopardise a players career in order to try and make one for himself.
