Cant believe people want rid. He's been our best Defender this season. Ok he hasnt been brilliant but when your the only defender playing decent you cant
    be expected to contain everything!!!

Yes we need back up as he is getting old but he's the old head we need in the squad. Its times like this that im greatful for having Dazza in the squad. He's experienced enough and he's been through lots of things including managers being sacked etc...

    I don't want rid

But he's not going to last for ever - he'll need replacing soon.

Might be getting to the stage where it's expecting a lot of him to play 46 games. If we'd had a decent alternative I think he'd have missed the last few games cos he's been nowhere near fit imho. quality laiker still though.

Yeah i agree with that. We do need to be looking at replacements for next season. But at the moment he is quality. Our best reader of the game.

I think he can play a big role in the big game (Derbies etc.) and against some the long ball teams but against a good, slick passing team then that's where he comes unstuck IMO. Definately need cover for him but he's a great man to have in and around the squad if only for his experience.

Foster has had an awful start to the season

and Kozluk has been total ****. Out of them all, I'd say Moore is the best of a bad bunch, and certainly not the one I'd single out for criticism.

I'm not having a go at him, just that there's a definite need for...

new blood at the back, as for Foster he's been terrific from day 1 but he's lost form of late but he'll be fine, Kozluk for me did not like Davey regardless of what he said to the press, Bobby Hassell is ok, but the lad El Haimour is way out of his depth, Potter will deffo be good player for us, so the upshot is we must provide strength in depth for the defence.

For me he's been our best player so far this season

minus the Reading game. Think he's been as immovable as ever, albeit very slow off th mark, but for me has done very little wrong, except from that weak clearance to set Reading up for there first goal, but still he shouldn't have been put in that position by Colace.

    RE: Potter

Not good enough, to me looks completely out of his depth. Conference/league 2 player at best.

Keep him in the squad, have him coaching - but his pace has gone.

He'll get caught out way too much this season..

I like the bloke and he played well last season after a dodgy start but l dont think he has another season left in him, i think Robins will see that.

    But he's not fast.

We need Usain Bolt at the back. Pace. Pace. Pace.

Him or that South African woman bloke.

someone who could actualy kick a ball will be an improvement

nevermind the fact of how slow he is. foster has looked poor because he has to babysit the other 3 at the back.

I wonder if we are starting to see the real Stephen Foster now i.e the Stephen Foster who was ever present for a Crewe side that conceded almost 100 goals.

Same as the Bobby Hassell who was an ever present for the Mansfield side that condeded almost 100 goals. In the third division.
