    Has been offered the job apparently.

    Mate of mine has a part time media job in football here in the midlands. One of his associates Is a good friend of Darren moore, he got a text today off the man himself, saying he'd been freed the job, and he was thinking it over.

    Must admit I'd prefer flicker myself. My mate commentates for radio derby on burton Albion, it was put out on there today as a rumour apparently.

    Its unfathomable to be honest. I wouldn't mind, but he's not exactly a legend. I can remember how many didn't just not rate him, but gave him some right stick when he was here.

    I haven't won a bet since Red rum but after today's result those odds are too tempting, especially as not many black ex-pros get offered top-two division jobs, temporary or not. Heart says Flitcroft (or McPhail) but wallet now says Moore.
