Darts Final..........

Taylor is 1-20 on!!! In a 2 horse race! Unreal!! Like Jenkins but you simply cant see him beating Taylor. Hope he makes a game of it though.

I cannot believe the support for Terry Jenkins. These people should have been booing him and should have been disgusted at wasting 50 quid watching a none contest. It irritated the **** out of me when Jenkins SMILED at winning his 3rd leg. He should have been straight faced.

takes the piss don't it i went last sunday and watched 51 legs of darts 6 different players and 5 hours of entertainment for £20
today they have paid £50 for 22 legs only 2 players and 1 hour 20 minutes more money then sence

 

Too true. Every other player in the world bar Taylor should take a good long look at themselves in the mirror just like Harrington said. They just don't take the game seriously enough and until they do Phil will continue to dominate.

He was 40/1 at he start of the tournament and did brilliantly to beat Barney and Baxter.

What did he do to deserve booing? Not play his best? I'm not always at my best in everything I do but I don't expect people to ridicule/boo me for it.

Terry's about the nicest bloke on the circuit - he enjoys his darts and doesn't take it too seriously. It's only really a hobby to him as he's an antique dealer by trade - I'd say he's bloody good considering.

 

I'm not a big darts man, but is it not the case that Taylor is just FAR better than anyone else?

All the mirror looking in the world wont turn Martin Devany into Christiano Ronaldo.....

Well done to Terry for 'irritating the ****' out of you, as you spend all day doing that to us lot on here, and secondly, who do you think you are telling Jenkins what face he should pull?!

Yes he tried for a long while but it's more to do with what they do away from tournaments to improve just like former major winner and worlds number one Rod Harrington said. Like the Desert Classic for example you can tell some see being in Vegas as an holiday, but Phil sees it as work. The crowd booed Lewis the other night for his lack of effort against Phil and that was even more deserved.

do you judge the effort being made by a darts player?

 

Terry doesn't lack effort

The fact is that Phil seems to like spending all his life throwing darts, whereas someone like Jenkins has other interests and doesn't want to spend 6 hours a day throwing fecking darts. Fair play to him.
