    daughter being ripped off by partner he wants 50% of house split and has only put 20% in any advice gratefully recieved

    receipts needed specifying who bought what. Also check receipt from Solicitors for when they paid the deposit on the house - is it in joint names or just one of their names ?

    have a look and see if theres a law cente of citizens advice beraux near by your area, they will give fee legal advice and what you need to do

    it was her house for 7 years hes had his name onbooks for 2 ?

    Reight then I don't know. I assume he'll be entitled to some recompense for anything he's contributed in those 2 years. Just hope that she has some way of showing his financial contribution to mortgage etc. If he's after 50% in those circumstances, unless she's done the dirty on him ( with all due respect ) then he's a sponging xxxxx and needs a word.

    Oh and

    xxxxx = n0nce. I think that word has been put in the filter in case we ever discuss bank fees etc.

    When they put his name onto the deeds did they do so under joint tenancy or a tenancy in common?

    If what you are saying is that his name has been on the proprty for 2 years, then he is entitled to a share. If they can avoid doing this thorugh the courts it will be in both of their best interests.
