If you go to BBC.co.uk and navigate through their regional radio listings you will get to South Yorkshire and then Radio Sheffield.

The internet commentary link should be on their Football Heaven page.

    Hope that helps

Has anybody every managed to get live commentary via the bbc web site?

When we played swindon a few weeks back, it was live on radio swindon.
I tried to listen, and it just kept repeating, this station is not available at this time. Try later. After the match it worked fine.

As far as I know, Internet commentary is exclusive to Barnsley World & Premium TV for League games and Carling cup ties. BUT Radio Dee-dah should have dispensation to provide a commentary link for tonights game, with it being in the FA Cup 'n all. The home game against Bradford was available for web listening.

Hi Fatty, I tried that on saturday afternoon, not expecting to hear the Reds as they were playing at home, but all I got was some posh BBC bint saying that the program was not available.

What a load of sh*t, if its on free local radio, what possible grounds can they have for denying access to the comentary via the web? After all, allowing Reds fans who don't live in the South Yorkshire area to have access to the matches via the web is not going to discourage those supporters from coming to Oakwell, if anything it might just get some of us to come more often.

    Not to mention licence fees.

The game against Bradford tonight will be live on the web but not the league game at Yeovil. I think this is to do with football league having exclusive rights or something. To access tonight's commentary via the web go to bbc.co.uk/southyorkshire and click on the listen live link.
    Hope this helps.
