Right well... we should have had a penalty each, so he can't complain much there, and we had more corners and more possession than them, so not sure how he works that out. They had more attempts, but most ended up in row Z.

One of the worst sets of officials we have had in a long time...

And given we have suffered Urinal Rennie and worse in recent years, that is some statement!

Both sides have numerous grievances regarding todays officials, and rightly so, but in some ways the poor officiating added to the overall spectacle. Throughout 90 minutes I didn't have time to look at the scoreboard to see scores from other games because the one in front of me was so enthralling. Credit to both sides for that.

Did he miss the 15-20 min spell in the first half when we were camped in their half of the field then?!

For the most part we restricted them to taking pot shots from outside the area.

Maybe he'd like to comment on the bookings 2 of our players got for excellent tackles, whereas they made rash tackles that were fouls and the ref didn't give anything.

They benefitted far more from that ref than we did.


I agree though if refs get demoted from the Premier for being ***** then why do we have to suffer with them.

If they're not good enough to referee a prem match how can they be good enough to ref any match? Our matches are just as important to us, in fact he could be ultimately affecting the richest game in football.</p>

Let's face it, we're all biased towards our teams but yesterday Cardiff won everything.</p>

No pen for them and we had an equal shout for one which was dismissed, he failed to mention that.</p>

We matched Cardiff in every department and it was a cracking game spoilt by one sided display by 3 officials.</p>

Unbelievable how they performed.</p>

Thank god we don't have a cheat like Hassel fraud in our side. much rather have Odejayi. The goals will come from hime soon.</p>

Yeah I agree but there has to be a pecking order... players who aren't good enough to play in the Premiership go down a league or two, people who underperform in most jobs may drop down to a lower level.

It's the way things go, but in referees' case it is indeed annoying.
