charged with assaulting a copper and criminal damage.

Wonder what he would have done if they had lost.

 

I cannot imagine what he did do and it looks as though his wife is in bother as well. How do you get into a ruck with the police when you are about to celebrate your team getting promoted? Strange! Unless he had had a tad too much to drink already, or the police did not believe that he should be on the bus with the rest! Something does not add up!

 

I thought he'd been arrested after the promotion in a late night incident in a pub or nightclub.

 

He was arrested out celebrating presumably with the rest of the squad, I assume he was drunk. If they had lost I'd have thought he'd have gone home and so not got arrested, case and thread closed.
