    Reason..

    "i have taken the club as far as I can"....


    In other words, the real reason is what???

    a) I am clueless and don't know what to do with this bunch of tossers
    b) I am a **** manager and prefer to resign before being sacked
    c) I secretly have been tapped up for another job

    i reckon Ryan wanted him out and that statement

    has been made to soften the blow and make it look as though Penney wanted to leave so another club playing association football give him a job

    I've done as much as is possible with a shitty little club like this, what more do they expect? Highest position for 50 years and they are still in the bottom half of league football.
