http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/jun/03/england-joe-hart-manchester-city "The England goalkeeping coach, Dave Watson, could be recruited to Manuel Pellegrini's backroom staff at Manchester City because of the relationship he has forged with Joe Hart while working with him on international duty."
Hope so - He deffinately deserves it. Remember meeting him when I was 6/7, game me my football trophy. Top lad.
Never forget seeing the little flowers and good luck messages, fans would put in his net during the promotion run in. It was such a shame his career was cut short and it's great to see him doing so well coaching with England. Smashing lad.
I wish him all the luck in the world. I rememeber crying my eyes out when we knew he was too injured to continue.
Nice, quiet unassuming lad used to see him in the pub down Wintersett. Like everyone else I was gutted about the end of his playing days but it's great to see he's doing so well now.
38 years too late with this one. God this is really owd news he went on to play for Werder Bremen, Southampton, Derby and a few others.
Re: 38 years too late with this one. He's a top lad, always has been I went to college with dave and nicky Eaden, still keep in touch. Still both barnsley lads.
