Davey and those who thanked him

Can you tell me what you thanked him for? As we can all now see he left us in a right state and luckily Mr Robins might just be able to turn this around. If we go down it will be Cryne and Davey 100% to blame. Any club looking for a new manager just take a close look at us and do yourself a favour and dont go within a hundred miles of that useless clown Davey or you will regret it.
Davey we are well shut of you, i hope you never reappear in football. Clubs should be protected from the likes of you.

In the history of Barnsley Football Club.


Many managers have taken us down. Many have taken us back up again.

But only one other has taken my club to Wembley.


And I think him for giving us the opportunity to get promoted next season. S)

It's common courtesy to thank people for their efforts - irrespective of whether or not things turned out.

No and unless i am told otherwise i didnt say that. What i said was PC has to take responsibility for letting Davey keep doing the damage we could all see 2 years ago. Why are there so many Barnsley fans blind to the damage that Davey did.

He wasn't great, he wasn't ****. He's by no means as bad as people like you are making out.

 

Forget him...

he has gone.

I honestly belive that SD was not helped by the circumstances in which he was given the job. That and the failure to improve on relegation battles year on year.

the work he did do. We havent made one forward step in terms of progress. The man was inept, arrogant, clueless, tactically uesless and a terrible judge of players. The worst manager at the club in the 40 years i've been watching.

So Rocket Robins is our saviour from big, bad Davey eh, NOT!!!!. In the 3 years Simon kept us up how many 'bigger clubs' went down, bet they would have accepted what he did. This joker is a Div 2 manager and thats where he will take us.
Patrick Cryne could have stuck by the devil himself and not one Barnsley fan could question it, HE STUMPED UP THE CASH!!!!!

Well he's not the worst manager I've seen.

And I've been watching 15 years.

He was in charge when we got to our highest league position in the past 9/10 years. He was in charge when we reached an FA Cup Semi-Final at Wembley.

He also helped us avoid relegation for three years.

If the players are so **** (I know he signed 'em), he did ok keeping us up didn't he?

 

I think we are going down

and I think we'd have more chance of staying up with Davey than Robins. Just that.

 

You must have the memory span of a goldfish if you think davey is the worst in the last 40 years, go for a swim round the castle!!
