Probably after a decent winger, someone to fill McIndoe's boots! I'd go along with that aswell.

attacking midfielder is mainly used as someone who plays in centre

I read somewhere on here that Devaney has turned down the latest contract offer. Maybe it's to replace him.

devaney said he wants to stay, but hasn't signed a new deal yet. There's time yet for him to sign a new deal

Surely it should be defensive defensive defender...

I see it looks like we've missed out on another defender with the guy from fulham probably cos we pay peanuts. But we have signed a striker what do we know about pistol pete anyone ever seen him play. As for another misfielder get shut of some others first.

    My thoughts exactly!!!

The new deal probably reflects the fact that he only ever plays for half a game.

    I Smell A Rat

Some old bloke told me last night that he's had it on good authority (as you do) that Howard is off to Wednesday.

Now not being a sceptic I didn't believe him but put Davey's comment together with our board and the McIndoe thing and I wouldn't be surprised.

It also seems a bit fishy Howard on the back of last Friday's Chron saying he'll be happy to sign a new contract.

    More speculative negativity

Weshday or any other team would need to fork out the best part of 750k in todays prices to get Howard.

Cant see GS & PC letting him go to them unless it was mega bucks nor without competition for his signature.
