How daft is Simon Daveys comments ???

In "higher level" does that mean better than us, does that mean Sheffield United are better than us ???
Does that mean a team in the same division are classed as better than us ???
How daft is Simon Daveys comments ???
We have lost supporters and future supporters in the villages dotted throughout the Barnsley district through that one comment.
I for one am questioning tonight why I watch Barnsley Football Club

As for Howard signing for Sheffield United...........this is one of the worst days I've known in 40 years of watching Barnsley FC

I hope fooking Howard breaks his fooking legs and never ever plays football again

Harsh Young Nudger...so so harsh!!! But I agree about the SD comment...Jeysus, how thick is he and how thick does he think we are. The smokescreen ****** with young Lazareus was reduculus...biggin himself up..I saw him here, I played him there, just to hide the problem..and fook what a problem we have!!!!

But dad cant we go and watch Sheffield United they have got Barnsleys best player playing for them now
OK son, get thi coat on we'll do that if yer want to

and there goes another potential Barnsley fan on his way to Bramhall Lane

Don't be silly Nudge, I don't think anyone will stop supporting us because of one player going. Much better players have gone in the past

He was always going to leave though, shame he went to a rival, but like others have said, he's not the first to go between clubs. Kozluk's been great - he's an ex dee-dah, Heckingbottom - same again, plus we had Jan Aage, and others in the past

It's not even one of the worst days in the 15 or so years I've been watching Barnsley, the relegations were worse, losing Hignett was worse, losing Ashley Ward (for me) was worse, Danny Wilson leaving annoyed me much, much more

Any man willing to go watch a rival because of one player..

isn't a fan in my eyes anyway.

F*ck 'em if they want to go watch United simply because of Howard

Most of our fans live in Wombwell and Thurnscoe and places like that........NOT Glossop or Preston

Us fans on the streets of Barnsley and the Barnsley district know whats happening REGARDING SUPPORTERS
And know how much competition there is with Sheffield United

OUR CHAIRMAN AND MANAGER.............OBVIOUSLY DO NOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    No

It won't live with me for the rest of my life. Hignett/Redders were much, much better players, and the relegations had a much bigger impact on the club as a whole. We can cope without Howard - it won't be easy, but like I said, we've lost better players in the past

He didn't want to stay, I don't think there's much more we could have done

How can anybody wish any player well that moves to Sheffield United.........

...........or Sheffield Wednesday or Leeds United

If Howard had gone to Charlton it would be a loss
But to go to one of our Competitors is unbeleivable
To make things worse Davey has said Howard wants to play at a HIGHER LEVEL

Those wishing Howard well have not got the good intensions of Barnsley FC at heart ........................end of

Any man willing to go watch a rival because of one player.........who mentioned fans ???

I'm talking about the mass of people out there that like football but have no allegiance to any club

I'm talking about the loads of Sheffield United fans that already exsist in the Barnsley district who encourage their mates to watch a reight club that can steal the best player from little old Barnsley for a few bob

I'm talking about the young lad going to a football match for the first time and wondering which will be the best players to watch

    GOOD LUCK BRIAN

And yes I am a Barnsley fan and ALWAYS wish the best of my club so **** off Fudger and ride a bike down grove street while we're all inside watching the game or don't bother watching the likes of BRIAN HOWARD and co gaining us promotion to the league we're in now like the rest of us did. Don't cheer the side on like us Nudge, you get yourself off home instead.
    What a fan you are.
