Davey hauled off lively Daniel Bogdanovic ten minutes after the re-start and sent out on-loan Liverpool youngster Adam Hammill. The decision was greeted by a chorus of boos from the 900-strong travelling contingent and chants of 'You don't know what you're doing.' He said: "The fans are massively important to the club and it's vital they stay behind us and rally us on because we are in a dogfight. "They obviously weren't happy with who I brought off but the player who came on made a great impact and was involved with the goal." Tykes keeper Heinz Muller went walkabout at a free-kick and Smith tucked home his 16th of the season.
the" you don`t know what you`re doing" chants were aimed at the fact that he replaced the wrong player(taking off boggy )instead of mifsud who was ineffective.
RE: the" you don`t know what you`re doing" Reporter in News Of The World said that we were fickle because we celebrated after Hammill had scored. I don't think he realised that we all wanted Hammill on and we were unhappy at Boggy being taken off.
RE: the" you don`t know what you`re doing" Hamil is a quality player and like you say we all wanted him on. The notw quotes Davey that is how deluded that **** is if he thinks we were booing for bringing Hamil on especially seen as so he got a standing ovation when we was warming up.
RE: the" you don`t know what you`re doing" Are you lot illiterate? It says the fans weren't happy with who was brought off (Bogdanovic). there is no suggestion we were booing Hamill.
RE: the" you don`t know what you`re doing" "They obviously weren't happy with who I brought <u>off</u> "</p> I think that shows he does know why the fans were booing.</p>
when we dropped on davey in service station, we told him to get steele back in the nets. doubt he'll take any notice of fickle fans who spend hundreds of pounds and endless hours travelling up and down the country watching inept displays
I was livid when he took off Boggy instead of Mifsud and joined in with "you don't know what you're doing". Ended up in an argument with a "happy clapper" fan in front who seemed to think that our fans were a disgrace yesterday. We're all in it together I agree, but sometimes I'm just baffled by Davey's tactics. Football is a passionate game and feelings boil over. If I didn't care then I wouldn't have been there in the first place pal.
thought it was funny when a few "Davey Out" chants followed the "you don't know what you're doing" ones and then when we scored, someone shouts out "Davey In" ohhh, yu gotta larrff :'( .
the blokes a ***** i stopped listening and reading his lie's months ago they just kept getting me worked up
