Simon Davey moves quickly to deny reports linking the club with a transfer for former winger Michael McIndoe.

There have been rumours that McIndoe, who controversially left the club after only a few months in November 2006, could be used as a sweetener as Bristol City continue their pursuit of Anderson de Silva.

However, Davey denies this is the case and while he claims to be an admirer of McIndoe's ability, he says he's a player that's not on the club's radar.

Speaking to the Sheffield Star he said, "I've not spoken to him (Michael), he's not a player on our radar.

A talented player who could provide the answer to a major problem position for us.
No wonder he's not on Davey's "radar".

An arse who turned his back on the club after half a season.

    Shouldn't be on Davey's radar.

I agree - let's bring in a third rate plodder from the Swiss League and get behind him

Who said anything about doing that?

If I'm offered Adam Hammill or Michael McIndoe - itd be Hammill every day.

What people forget is that we wouldn't have been able to sign a player of McIndoe's quality at the time, if there hadn't been the £250k transfer clause. Players like Eddie Johnson were snubbing us and signing for clubs like Bradford City.

We did well to get him albeit only for 4 months but don't think he had a bad game for us and always gave 100% on the pitch. I would have him back in a flash and hope Davey's comments about him 'not being on our radar' is just his usual bullshiting to put others clubs off the scent.

We won't sign Hammill - we'll bring in the third rate plodders like Leon or El Haimour

Totally agree bud. I'd have him back - providing we don't put a release clause in next time - either that or one that would have to be over a million.

An arse who asked for a clause to be inserted to his conract that the club agreed to.

A bigger club at the top end of the division met that and he went. That's football.

Is Devaney an arse for having that clause as well?

    I'd take him back tomorrow.
