"Like everyone else, I expect him back here unless we receive a money offer for him which meets our valuation," Davey explained. Mostto, understood to have cost Barnsley £400,000 last summer, failed to make an impact in his debut season in England. In 10 starts for Barnsley he managed just one goal. He was sent out on loan back in Peru in January. Mostto, now 28, arrived at Oakwell with a big reputation as leading scorer in the Peruvian top flight. His last game for Barnsley was in the 3-1 home defeat by Norwich on January 12. He was replaced by Michael Coulson in the 67th minute of the 3-1 defeat. Coulson will not be fit for the start of next season. He is recovering from knee surgery. Davey has released on-loan Daniel Nardiello and put Istvan Ferenczi and Kim Christensen on the transfer list, leaving only two experienced strikers in his squad in Jon Macken and Kayode Odejayi. Teenager academy graduate Jamil Adam will work with the first team but Davey needs at least one other frontman who can guarantee goals. Odejayi will find himself training alongside Portsmouth's FA Cup goal scoring winner, Kanu, next week as the Nigerian squad arrives in Vienna for their friendly against Austria a week tomorrow. Barnsley target Lewin Nyatanga is also on international duty next week. He is in the Welsh squad for a friendly with Iceland in eight days time alongside Nardiello, the QPR striker who ended the season on loan at Barnsley but has since been sent back to the London club.

His agent will be working overtime to get him fixed up elsewhere cant see him ever coming back, first stone cast by Davey, ie we wont be just releasing him without suitable contractual/financial arrangements.

On Brian Howards 'Team-mates' Brian said he was the worst trainer. So bad, that they had to be told he had gone back to Peru.
More likely: Muller Van H Foster Souza Williams JCR Loan Howard Signing Macken A Million Pound Striker Playoffs.
Robbie Williams back ? Good.
The young warrior must spend his bounty wisely this summer grasshopper.

I cant see us staying up again without spending some serious dough on a goalscorer. And even 1 mill is below what some clubs will be spending. Bristol City came up and spent more than us. Forest will do the same. If we are serious about finishing in the top half, then we need to be brave and speculate.
RE: I cant see I agree , we have to push the boat out or we are screwed.
I am sure that we will have a contingency plan of loan signings should the £1M pound striker we get , get injured early doors.

RE: More likely: Reckon we'll go in for Williams again?
Would we have to pay a fee as he's out of contract?

RE: Hope im wrong i think hes over rated. nt I think he'd be a great signing, but I think there's no chance he'd come to us
