Is he *****, too old too slow. How many goals will he score this season, 8, 9???

He is a yard short of where he should be all the time, he has a decent touch which he uses a couple of times a game and thats it.

We will never improve with players of his calibre playing week in week out.

When the hell is he planning on signing a left winger and an attacking midfielder to replace Howard?
Sign all the strikers you want you won't solve the goalscoring problem until we assemble a creative midfield.
He's had enough time and money to put a squad together and yet here we are again in the relegation dogfight because of our inability to win even the simplest of games. Time for a change in the manager's chair for me.

At least five players out today who'd normally feature: Kozluk, Anderson, Colace, Devaney, Hume.

I'm no Davey apologist, and I accept that today was shît. But I don't feel concerned about relegation.

It must come as such a massive shock to our strikers to get a clear chance at goal that they don't know what to do.
Cureton would score goals in front of a creative midfield

If Davey puts together a proper squad, as he's had more than enought ime and money to do, then we can have a few players out and still see off the fodder put in front of us today.
But because he's brought in such crap as El Haimour and Rigters we can't.
Managers fault for me, and now time to wonder if we're ever going to make progress under him and become a solid championship side instead of fighting the drop every season.
This season will go to the wire again.

He blows up not long into the second half, he misses far too many chances, he's far too slow and the only thing he's likely to be good at is a world gurning championship. Agreed that we should get rid.

Cureton is not the answer. Still can't beleive people are slagging Macken off. I agree he is not playing as well as last season, but to say he is not Championship material beggers belief. Or is it just his turn for abuse...

Could be Lee Hughes with a bit of luck. What with his release clause being what we would have paid for Jamie Ward. Plus Oldham now have Windass in until the end of the season and both are too similar playing wise. Also on crowds of 5k I doubt they can afford both on their wage bill. Windass won't have come cheap from a premiership club either. All hopefully leads to Hughes...

I'm sure his victims' families are thrilled to know that.
