    Get ready folks

    going to be a busy, busy day on here once the news gets round. Have thought this was going to happen for weeks and while I would have preferred a more experienced manager we all knew that GS would go for the cheapest option who will do what he is told, because he has been given the job by default rather than the club having to ask him and sell the club as they would have had to with Dowie etc.

    Totally baffling under the circumstances. All we can hope for is that this is another one of those situations where we're only working with half the facts and it's a three month contract or something while we continue to search for someone else.</p>

    We could be in the first division by then. Awful day to be a Reds fans.

    Knowing the Owner and the Chairman consider Davey as the man to take us to the next level. Truely awful. 5 season tickets not renewed for the first time since 1978.

    Backed by the fact we pay the lowest wages in the League, have most of the squad available to leave in the summer and seem incapable of attracting any decent players in.....hope our new manager has lots on contacts in the game !!
