yet under his management we've never been what you could call 'attack minded'. Last season he had Ritchies strikers in Hayes, Richards & Wright, so you could understand it if he didn't rate them. He's now signed his own strikers, so does this mean we'll see a change to attacking football? Only other postion he's splashed the cash for is a new keeper - is it a case of hoping he (Muller) keeps the scores down and whilst realising that the defence is pretty leaky Davey realises we've got to score 3 or 4 to win a game? Or could it be that strikers appear to increase in value quicker - £400k this season, £4m next if goals are scored - a la Chopra?
I've considered the possibility of his speculation in strikers increasing in value quicker. But that's the name of the game for cash strapped clubs so nothing strange there.
