RE: how is this his fault? its the same team/same system as wednesday? its the players that are crap. Reid colgan are just crap.
But The Commentary Team......... after about five minutes said we were playing 442 and Howard was on the left. Why would we change tatics after the other night? It's come back and hit us hard in the face and that's down to the manager.
That's the managers fault though He's the one who picks reid despite the facts showing quite clearly that it isnt working
maybe your right...i dont get how he can have the boys up for it one minute... and then toatlly inept and without passion the next...you'd have though thy'd be buzzing after wednesday.
Maybe it's 'the boys' who are to blame for slacking and resting on their laurels after t'other night rather than owt to do with Davey.
I agree go now. Davey gets lucky at times but most of the time he's tactically inept. Why change it to a system which we usually lose with.
he obviously went for a point andits backfired. which is stupid really...how many draws have we exactly had this year?
Surely The Tatics....... for today will have been the easiest to pick whilst our manager. But nooooooooo he changes the tatics after winning 4-2 away at a FA Cup quarter final team.
If you're on about motivation then professional footballers shouldn't need to be motivated. I can imagine Davey's tearing out what little is left of his hair, that he's sent the players out to do a job and they can't be arsed today. Smacks of 'We've got a bit of breathing space' so don't need to bust a gut today. Same story all season irrespective of the manager.
Don't know if he has, haven't got commentary, but he said he would change tactics to suit the opponent straight after the Plymouth game when queried about his new tactics.
Is it true that he's changed the formation from Wednesday? If so why? If you play the same team that won a game against similar opposition, then why change the play round? Seems a little daft to me.
It's a brave decision if he has. If it come off then he's hailed as a tactical wizzard, if it fails then he looks a bit stupid.
I'm not saying I agree with the tactics ...but I'd bet a pound to a penny, certain players aren't as up for the fight today, after what they put in on Wednesday. If so the tactics are irrelevant. Everyone pounces on Davey when we have days like this, what about the shocking attitude of the players?
Davey's remit was to strengthen the areas we were deemed weak in. If we have players like that in certain areas then they should have been replaced. We have enough of Davey's acquisitions who aren't getting a game at the moment to ensure that should not be happening.
